Friendships are important to building girls confidence and we all know that challenges can start as young as Kindergarten. The focus of this one-day workshop is to encourage positive friendships. In this workshop, we'll cover the following:
What does it mean to be a good friend?
Qualities of a good friendship
Ways to make new friendships
What to do when you or a friend is being left out or excluded
What is a bully and how to handle them?
The focus of this workshop is to give young girls the right foundation early on in life by helping girls to understand that being unique and different is a good thing. We feel that if girls are introduced early on that it's ok to dress differently, do activities that maybe others aren't doing and even do things that boys do, it will help them develop into confident young ladies.
In this workshop, your girls will explore how they are unique and what they LOVE about themselves. We do this through fun activities, discussions and a creative art project centered around their differences and how cool it is to be themselves and accept themselves just the way they are.
Celebrating You
Girl Power is defined as "The idea that girls and women have control over what they want to do and who they want to be." In our Girl Power workshop, our goal is to encourage girls to set goals, aspire to be whatever they want to be and never let anyone tell you that you "can't" do something because you are a girl. In this 1.5 hr. workshop, we will include the following:
Based on the book "How Full Is Your Bucket?" This one-day workshop will focus on how using positive interaction can impact ones life and of those they interact with. The authors suggest that we all have a bucket within us that needs to be filled with positive interactions, kind words and encouragement. When we're negative toward others, we use a dipper to remove from their buckets and diminish their positive outlook. When we treat others in a positive manner, we fill not only their buckets but ours as well. In this 1.5 hr. workshop, we'll discuss and cover the following:
Read aloud the book "How Full is Your Bucket for Kids?"
Discuss the concept of having a bucket and dipper
Identify situations where they've had their buckets dipped into
Share when they've had full buckets- why was it full, what happened?
Discuss the importance of positive attitude and interaction
Benefits of being kind, respectful and caring as a person and friend
Decorate their own buckets and spend time filling them
Girls With Confidence believes that it's extremely important for young girls to have positive role models. In today's society, many girls have their eyes set on the wrong type of role models. Heavily influenced by celebrities, our goal is to influence girls to have role models that exhibit the right characteristics that make someone a great role model.
The focus of this workshop is to guide young girls in choosing the right role models to help them make positive choices and feel good about themselves. In this 1.5 hr. workshop, we'll discuss and cover the following:
Friendships are important to building girls confidence and we all know that challenges can start as young as Kindergarten and continue to get more challenging in 3rd-5th grades. The focus of this workshop series is to encourage positive friendships and help girls learn skills on how to manage through challenges such as exclusion, jealousy and mean girls. In this workshop, we'll cover the following:
The focus of this program is to give young girls the right foundation early on in life. Girls With Manners helps girls properly interact with peers and adults and excel in everything they do with confidence.
With the proper behaviors and manners your child will learn how to interact with others in a positive way and learn how to handle problems and situations on their own. A child who is respectful and considerate of others often gets the same treatment in return.
During this 1.5 hr. workshop, we'll cover the following topics: Introductions, proper handshakes, respectful behavior, using positive power words and avoiding "not nice" words and table manners.
The focus of this workshop is to increase girls confidence in themselves, improve their self-esteem and help them understand that the beauty of a girl is on the inside and not the outside. Girls at this age tend to have questions related to their body and the changes they are going through, this workshop allows the girls to ask questions and learn more about their bodies. Mirror~Mirror will cover the following topics:
Educating the girls on the different body types
We will share with the girls how the fashion industry and media present a false image of what a typical girl really looks like
Understanding the importance of a "healthy" body image and how it ties in to your self-esteem
Body changes and what puberty is?
Girls With Faith is a bible-based, relationship-focused workshop that helps girls learn the importance of believing in God and how it builds strong self confidence. This class is for all girls, whether they have been believers for years or are looking to learn more about God and Jesus Christ. This 1.5 hr. workshop will focus on the following:
Defining what Girl Power means to them
The benefits and great things about being a girl
Identifying situations where maybe their "girl power" isn't being respected by others and why?
Discovering what their "girl power" is individually
The Mother & Daughter relationship is pivotal in a young girls life and helping her to become a confident young lady. And that's why we like to offer several workshops and/or events for Mother's and Daughter's to attend together.
We offer a fun event every year around Mother's Day that allows moms & daughters to spend quality time together, learn more about each other, participate in a few fun activities and work on a creative art project together that you both will cherish forever. What better way to celebrate Mother's Day week then to go to a workshop together!
We also offer a Mother & Daughter workshop series through a program called Girls Circle. It can be conducted over 4-8 weeks, meeting once a week. It's a wonderful program that allows Moms and Daughters to build a stronger relationship and become closer. It is super fun and creative for everyone. We also offer these programs on a request basis, so if you and your friends have a group of Moms and their daughters interested, we would love to offer a special session for them, just let us know.
This is a great topic for girls to explore how important it is to take safe risks in life, not have regrets and most importantly teach them how being brave and bold builds confidence is so many positive ways. Another important area we discuss with the girls is that it's ok to make mistakes because we can learn and grow from them. The girls love this workshop.
Girls With Confidence is all about helping girls develop strong self-esteem and confidence and in this workshop “Love My Selfie”, we will help your girls develop a LOVE for themselves that is focused on their inner beauty.
We plan to have a fun, educational and creative workshop where we will facilitate discussions with the girls on the following areas:
Understanding that being unique and different is a “good” thing
Loving what they see when they look in the mirror or at a photo- how to focus on what they love vs. dislike
Help the girls understand what they see in the movies, on TV and in the magazines is not reality and how it presents a false reality on what girls and women really look like.
Explore the obsession of selfie photos and share insight with the girls on the pros/cons to selfies
Positive self-talk and having a good attitude
After our discussion and fun interactive group activities, we will work on a creative art project with the girls that will express their love for themselves.
Girls LOVE our Girls Night Out and our parents do too. It's a perfect opportunity for your girls to do something fun, yet meaningful on a Friday or Saturday night. And it's nice for parents to get out on their own whether it's a date night, chance to catch up on errands or things around the house or for Moms to have their own night out with friends.
We begin our night with a discussion on a specific topic around "confidence" then we put the girls into groups where they will rotate through the activity stations. Stations may include: Jewelry making, Wii Just Dance, Cooking/Baking Recipes, Make-up & Hair, Creative Craft, Games &/or Activities, Movie time, etc.
Our "confidence" topics may include: What are you thankful for? Giving back to those that are in need, Back to school, Overcoming Obstacles, What it means to be Confident, Being Happy, Positive Friendships, etc.
We typically offer 4 Girls Night Out events throughout the school year and we are trying our best to offer in all of our markets.
We are excited to conduct our 8th annual Girls Giving Back event this coming December. We will continue our partnerships with "A Kid's Place" helping Foster girls and boys and "The Spring of Tampa Bay" by donating Shoe Box gifts filled and stuffed as much as possible with fun holiday presents & stocking stuffer items (see ideas below). We may partner with our Uganda chapter to provide some assistance for their girls.
Here's how it works. Once you register your daughter, about 10 days before the event, you'll receive an email with the name of a child your daughter will create this shoe box gift for. Below is a list of some ideas of some gifts items for your shoe box but you can do your own thing and get creative. You'll need to bring the "unwrapped" box with the gift items in it on the day of the event.
We run this event like an Open House due the craziness of the holiday season. This allows for flexibility in your schedules and you can arrive at the start of the event or come when you can. We have some girls that enjoy the entire time with us and some that come for a portion of it. It's up to you! Activities we will do with the girls:
Lastly, we will donate all profits from this event to our Angel Network which allows us to scholarship and fund girls who may not be able to afford our workshops or camps. Please help us continue to offer these scholarships by making a donation of any size.

Girls with Heart is one of our newest workshops that focuses on helping girls learn about all the different emotions they may experience, why they have these emotions and most importantly help the girls learn how they can manage through these feelings.
We plan to have a fun, educational and creative workshop where we will facilitate discussions with the girls on the following areas:
Identifying the emotions they are experiencing such as frustration, anger, anxiety, sadness, excitement, happiness, etc.
Understanding why they may be feeling that emotion
Learn strategies to respond and manage their emotions
Help the girls understand their feelings and emotions are a normal part of being a girl
After our discussion and fun interactive group activities, we will work on a creative art project with the girls that will express their love for themselves.
No One's Perfect
No One's Perfect is another new workshop we launched last year that focuses on helping girls understand that perfection does not exist. Making mistakes are a part of everyday life and that's how we learn and how we grow in our confidence and self-love.
We plan to have a fun, educational and creative workshop where we will facilitate discussions on:
Examples of the kinds of mistakes we might make- ie.) not studying enough for a test, not being honest with your parents, telling a friend something that hurts their feelings, drawing outside the lines on an art project, etc.
Read the book "The girl who never made mistakes" and discuss the characters and story
Explain Fixed vs. Growth mindset and share how having a growth mindset can help them be more positive and accepting of mistakes
After our discussion and fun interactive group activities, we will work on a creative art project with the girls that will express their love for themselves.
Our CONFIDENT GIRLS program helps girls start developing positive self-esteem and confidence at an early age. We offer workshops, events, after school programs and camps for girls in K-5th grades that cover the important topics that girls are challenged with at this stage of their development.

Every year we like to offer an event for girls to participate with their Dads. Father and Daughter relationships are special and spending quality time together is important. Past events have included a fun super hero theme, sports themes and picnic/bbq themes. We can't wait for our next Father & Daughter event.
